Heavenly Desserts was deemed to be an upmarket dessert place that served classy crepes and wonderful waffles, but does the food justify the price? Was it any good? Time to find out…

Ambience & Décor
Given this was one of the first times restaurants were allowed to be open post COVID-19, the ambience was expectedly flat. However, the décor inside was very nice and plush, and you definitely got the vibe this was a bit more upmarket than your usual dessert place. Overall, it was a very nice, relaxed place to eat. Heavenly Desserts also have a beautiful outside eating area too done up to match the all black façade and it looks very inviting and classy.
Service
The waiter that served us adhered to all social distancing guidelines and was lovely to interact with. Overall, a plus point to the experience.
Food
For drinks I ordered a refreshing Watermelon Mint Mojito (left) that was amazing. Great flavour combinations and it was such a treat on the palate. If all of their mojitos are like this, then I am coming back to try the rest. A must I feel.
For the dessert itself, conformed to the current trend to have gripped London of having Lotus Biscoff in a dessert. The malted biscuit is a personal favourite of mine as I love the strong flavour and texture. Biscoff crumble (below) plus Biscoff Spread was a match made in heaven for me, and the clearly homemade Vanilla gelato really elevated the dessert. I am not a massive fan of crepes because the batter mixture is never quit right for me in terms of texture and flavour, but this was on point. Overall, for a Biscoff lover like myself, this was a faultless dessert.
The price you pay is a tad more than one usually pays at a run-of-the-mill dessert place, but for me, the décor, service and quality of the food justifies the slightly higher prices. If Biscoff is not your thing, the quite extensive menu is sure to cater to all palates. Now that I have been, I can confirm the desserts here are heavenly. Due to the fact that I have only tried one item out of hundreds on the menu, I need to come back in order to give it top marks (what a shame!), so because of that, I am giving Heavenly Desserts an A rating.
