Cayman’s quartet of steak restaurants are Steak Social, Union Grill, The Kitchen, and The Falls. I have reviewed one and eaten at all the preceding three with various successes. Was it any good? Time to find out...

Ambience & Décor
The Falls does the classic thing on island and go for contrasting light-dark colours inside to create the appearance of a classy place, and the blue velvet booths with matching curtains in the corner do add to that appeal. Certainly not your traditional steakhouse look. The vibe is always rocking here, as you have people of all ages, groups of different sizes, but you are never yelling to be heard.
Service
I have been served when it has been a dinner for 2 and a large group dinner, and in both instances, the service was very good.
Food
The concept at The Falls is that whatever price you see on the menu, that includes the price for the corresponding steak, 1 x drink, 1 x starch side, 1 x vegetable side and 1 x steak sauce. It is incredible value given the prices are not that steep. I have paid a lot more for a more average steak in London. The Baked French Onion Soup was the best (and only) French Onion soup I have had, and for my first foray, it was quite tasty – although I have been told better exists. The 8oz Filet Mignon with Diane Sauce, French fries and Mac and Cheese (see left) was washed down with Strawberry and Raspberry Martinis and all of it was a culinary delight. The steak was succulent, juicy and the star of the show. I have had one average experience at The Falls, but 4/5 times have been great, so this one is an easy A rating.
